Materials- Precision Glass

Using proprietary glass forming processes, GBC produces precision glass tubing and rods. These glass components are used in miniature fuse bodies, lenses for photo transistors, glass-to-metal seals used in IC packages, Erasable/Programmable Read Only Memory (EPROM) and Read Only Memory (ROM) glass lenses...and many others.

GBC employs two distinct processing techniques. Each has the ability to manufacture small or large quantities of glass tubing and rod to precise tolerances.

The "Direct Draw" process enables GBC to draw in a variety of colors and compositions to meet customer demands.

The "Re-Draw" process allows GBC to provide custom drawn tubing from readily available compositions.
