Glass Preforms
MTC GBC glass preforms are used in high volume production of hermetic glass-to-metal seals where preformed frames, multi-hole parts and rings permit the introduction of a finite amount of sealing glass into the automatic seal process.
Finished seals are used, typically, in hermetic packages for relays, fuses, fiber optic connectors, and integrated circuite (IC) packages. Technical glass for matched seals to ASTM F15-type metal, Alumina stepped seals, and compression seals are available in a range of custom-formulated-compositions.
