Material Preparation

Stage 1

Ceramic raw materials are added into a mill with water.

Stage 2

Through an attrition process in the mill, the mixtures are both mixed and reduced in particle size.

Stage 3

The mill is emptied into a holding tank and from here the liquid is fed into a ‘spray drier’ that evaporates the water and produces a free flowing ceramic powder.
